A flexible basin or plastic manure silo is advantageous and can be installed quickly. This basin consists of a frame with plastic plates held together by steel cables. A basin liner is also relatively inexpensive and easy to install. In the agricultural sector, one is legally required to limit ammonia emissions. This is done through coverings. This also prevents contamination from the stored liquid.

There are two methods. The first is a floating cover consisting of a made-to-measure film that lies on the manure. The second option is a tensioning cover with a centre pole, whereby a tarpaulin is pulled to the edge of the silo. Thus there is always a solution for every type of manure and for every company.
