In addition to general storage systems, Milieusystemen also deals with project-specific matters. An example of this is a constructed wetland sand filter.
A constructed wetland sand filter is a biological purification system in which domestic wastewater is purified by biological, physical, and chemical processes. According to the IBA classification, the constructed wetland filter achieves a purification efficiency that meets the highest standards.
Operation
Toilet water is discharged via a pretreatment (septic tank) to the pumping station. The remaining wastewater flows through a grease separator to the pumping station. From this station, the water is pumped to the filter, where it is evenly distributed to the constructed wetland filter. The βcleanβ water then flows out from the bottom of the filter through an inspection pit to the ditch where the discharge point is located, or is directed to a post-treatment pond/collection pond for water reuse.
We can offer you these purification systems as a complete package, but we can also offer you each component separately. Examples include pump sumps, grease separators, septic tanks, piping, and pumps.
