All our manure storage systems can be equipped with a high-quality mixing system. We offer various solutions, from efficient electrically driven mixers to powerful tractor-driven systems for optimal results. We can provide you with the right advice in this regard.

Electric immersion mixer
Submersible mixers are available with power outputs ranging from 2,5 to 20 kW. These manure mixers are constructed entirely of stainless steel, including the motor housing, guide claw, and propeller. The manure mixer features multi-pole motors, allowing high capacities to be achieved with relatively low power. As standard, the mixers are mounted on a stainless steel guide column along which the mixer can move up and down and propel the mixer left and right. We can install the submersible mixer in the Flexobasin, the Concrete Silo, and the Foil Basin. It is also possible to install this manure mixer in cellars.
Tractor-driven manure mixers
We can use the tractor-driven manure mixers from the Buschmann brand in all manure storage facilities; each type of manure basin or silo requires its own type of mixer. Tractor-driven manure mixers require a tractor power of 60-160 hp. This depends on the rotational speed (max. 1.000 rpm). The propeller has a standard diameter of 600 mm, but 700 mm can be supplied upon request. The shaft bearings are rolling bearings situated in an oil bath. In a concrete silo, a mixing basket is positioned around the propeller that is adjustable by 360°.
External mixing
All covers can be fitted with mixing hatches. These hatches are custom-made specifically for each customer. A contractor with a crane mixer can then insert the manure mixer through the mixing hatch to stir the manure. All our covers are equipped with a mixing hatch as standard.
