Manure storage systems must be covered by law. Milieusystemen has various options for this.

The Spankap

The Spankap can be installed on various types of silos; each Spankap is manufactured and installed to the specifications of the manure storage facility to be covered. The Spankap is supported by a central hardwood column. The cover is made of PVC-coated fabric with an internal condensation flap to channel condensation back into the manure silo. A sturdy tension is applied to the outer wall using flexible tension straps and a stainless steel tensioner. Depending on the type of silo, the angle of inclination ranges from 15 to 20°.

The Floating Deck

Het Drijfdek is te plaatsten op alle soorten silo’s en bassins, elk drijfdek wordt op specificatie van de klant vervaardigd en geplaatst. Het Drijfdek wordt geproduceerd uit een FPP folie. Bij een ronde silo wordt het folie langs de buitenzijde voorzien van een open zoom waarin PS (polystyreen) cilinders worden geschoven zodat het regenwater dat op het drijfdek valt niet in de opgeslagen vloeistof stroomt. Door middel van een dompel- of een hevelpompje kan het water van het drijfdek worden afgepompt. Bij gegraven bassins wordt het FPP folie samen met het onderfolie bevestigd en ingegraven in de dijk.

The Domer

The Domer is an innovative double-membrane biogas roof specifically designed for tanks used for storing biogas or generating renewable energy. Each Domer is custom-manufactured and available in diameters ranging from 2 to 50 meters. The system is equipped as standard with a high-quality substructure and a supporting air system that maintains the shape of the outer membrane under constant pressure. The roof is constructed from double-sided PVC-coated polyester fabric with a breaking strength of 8000 kg per linear meter. The distinctive dome shape maximizes storage volume and offers optimal resistance to external influences such as wind and snow.

The Anti-Algae Cover (Airfloat)

The Airfloat anti-algae cover is the smart solution for maintaining optimal water quality in virtually all types of water silos and basins. This durable and lightweight floating cover is custom-manufactured from high-quality polyethylene. Thanks to the innovative GeoBubble technology — with over 1000 air-filled bubbles per square meter — the cover has very high buoyancy and requires no support from the tank structure. The white top surface reflects sunlight, keeping the water cool and preventing algae growth. Furthermore, the material is UV-resistant and withstands temperatures up to 85°C, guaranteeing a long service life.
